Kick Dance and Arts has been teaching dance and the performing arts for the past 27 years. Professional teachers run Kick’s programs with excellent qualifications and extensive industry experience. Classes are fun and promote confidence while developing a high level of technical proficiency.

Kick dance provides a wholistic programme where students can choose from individual classes in Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Contemporary, Tap and Irish or train in all of them. We cater for all ages and abilities from toddler to adult.

Kick provides a fun and enjoyable class environment that caters to students wishing to excel in exams, eisteddfods, musicals and concert performances.

Past students have successfully gained places at Disneyland and Universal Studios in Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong and Shang Hai, Moulin Rouge and Nouvelle Eve in Paris, Contemporary companies and the Palazzo in Germany, Movie World, Queensland Ballet Company, the Australian Ballet School’s Training Program and Ballet Theatre of Queensland, Queensland Youth Ballet, Queensland School of Excellence, Ed5 and the Edge and many more entertainment events.

Students have also been featured in Wiggles tours and videos, State of Origin football openings, Bullets and Broncos cheer squads, International Cruise Liner shows, and professional productions such as Matilda, Shrek, School of Rock, The Wizard of OZ, The King and I and The Lion King and Les Miserable. Former students have choreographed for the Commonwealth games mascot and founded and produced the fabulous Ballet International Gala.

We are very proud of our students’ numerous State and National titles in Irish Dance and many Eisteddfod titles, including Classical Ballet, Jazz and Tap Championships and aggregates.
